Privacy Choices
Available privacy, advertising, account, Local feed, notification, deletion, and data-request options.
This page explains the privacy choices currently supported by The Daily Scroll and where to request help when a self-service control is not available.
Advertising Consent
Where advertising consent is required, personalized Google-served ads should use a Google-certified consent management platform rather than only a homemade banner. If a certified CMP is not active, the page should say so clearly.
Non-Essential Cookies
Controls for non-essential cookies should appear here when implemented. Essential cookies needed for login, security, and core site behavior may still be required.
Email Notifications
Signed-in users can manage available notification and email settings in account settings where those controls are implemented.
Local Feed And Location Preferences
Signed-in users can update Local feed settings in account controls. Local relevance should use chosen or approximate location settings unless a precise-location feature is explicitly implemented.
Personalized Feed
Recommendations may use topics, follows, recency, local settings, interactions, and safety signals. Likes, dislikes, follows, and not-interested controls where available can influence future recommendations.
Account Deletion And Data Requests
If a self-service control is unavailable, contact help@thedailyscroll.com for deletion, access, correction, opt-out, or privacy questions.
Cookie preference controls will appear here when advertising consent tools are active.
Consent status: not_configured. This page does not create a fake consent banner or fake CMP.
